four days three Nights flores overland

For those who want to stay longer and want to explore flores more, we created a package to see more of the beautiful Flores island.

Day 1: Labuan bajo-waerebo

Leaving labuan bajo, and drive along flores for 4 hours with some stops along the way including rice fields. There is a turltle conservation spot on the south coast of flores island , named pantai repi, where we can stop for a while for some beach time.
The road is bumpy and small, but dont worry we take the utmost care and the scenery is worth it! Lunch will be at denge village, where we buy stuff for trekking, like watter, raincoats etc.
Drive for 15 minutes to the parking area, then we start walking. The fastest time is 2 hours for visitors, but we don’t need to walk fast, because we are on vacation. Walk under the lush jungle and birds singing in the surroundings makes the trekking very colourful.

In waerebo village, there are 7 houses built a very long time ago. More information to be explained once we arrive there.
We stay overnight.

Day 2:Waerebo-ruteng-bajawa.

Leave waerebo after breakfast in the morning,drive for 2 and a half hours, still on bumpy roads, but the view along the way is breathaking. Lunch in ruteng city, one of the coldest places in flores, there are many shopping places that you can buy things from.
We still have 4 hours to drive to bajawa ,the next resting place. On the way so many places to see, like ranamese lake, rice fields, arak/local wine making place, mountains, and so much more. Stay in bajawa for the second night.

Day 3:bajawa-bena village-soa hot spring-moni .

Day 3 is quite a long day, because we have to drive for almost 8 hours, but dont worry, flores is beautiful so many thing to see.
Early in the morning there is a traditional village, about 50 minutes from the town, it’s a very old village with locals still living there. So many stories you can hear once you arrive.
From Bena village, we will drive you to soa hotspring, its hot water from the sulfur, because it just next to the active volcano. There you can feel the local therapy from the water itself when you swim.

Next is a place named blue stone beach. This is good to have lunch because the local restaurant is located next to the blue stone beach.

Drive to the east for 2 hours, there is a city that is called a ‘story city’ of our 1st president, who used to live there. On the way there are fruit markets and rice fields to enjoy.
Stay overnight in moni village.

Day 4:Moni-Kelimutu lake-maumere/ende.

Talking about kelimutu, its a very unique crater lakebon Flores island, with its three different colour lakes, and because of the volcano activities, the colours always change.
Wakey wakey at 4.30am, drive to the parking area of kelimutu lake, before a 20 minute walk. There will be an incredible sunrise over the beautiful coloured lakes.
Get back to the hotel for breakfast then leave to a transfer place, either maumere to the east, or Ende city, where you can depart for your flight.
